We hand-pick them, so quality stays high, and yep, we&#8217;re proud of that.<\/strong>\n<p>All our massage therapists are technically skilled and experienced.<\/p>\nBut what really counts for us is the art of touch: can they use it so <strong data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"327\">you<\/strong> feel better right away?\nOur crew is trained in <a title=\"Shiatsu Amsterdam\" href=\"\/en\/shiatsu-massage\/\">shiatsu<\/a>, <a title=\"Relaxation Massage Amsterdam\" href=\"\/en\/relaxation-massage-amsterdam\/\">classic massage<\/a>, <a title=\"Deep Tissue Massage Amsterdam\" href=\"\/en\/deep-tissue-massage-amsterdam\/\">deep-tissue<\/a>, fascia release, <a href=\"\/en\/pregnancy-massage-amsterdam\/\" title=\"Pregnancy Massage \">pregnancy massage<\/a>, cupping, and more. After ten years as an agent for creatives in advertising, I flipped the script in 2007: I wanted calm, purpose, and a craft I could practise anytime, anywhere in the world.<\/strong>\nWith a Hindu father, I grew up seeing touch as care and connection. The idea that everything is linked was part of my upbringing.\nShiatsu found me-not a planned choice (Ayurveda would&#8217;ve made more sense with my roots) but a happy accident. The mix of Eastern philosophy and Western anatomy made the puzzle click. Back then I often visited Tajibana in Hotel Okura; the way they worked there became the blueprint for Arigato.\nPlenty of feeling, yet solid bodywork-no airy-fairy fluff.\nAll told, I&#8217;ve had the privilege of massaging more than 10,000 people.\nIn 2017 Het Parool ranked me among Amsterdam&#8217;s top massage therapists-an honour that still makes me smile.\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arigato.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/indra-sewcharan-founder-arigato-massage-company.jpg\" alt=\"Indra Sewcharan Founder of Arigato\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"940\" width=\"800\" title=\"indra-sewcharan-founder-arigato-massage-company\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>But beyond my love for the craft, one thing drives me every day: creating a space where people can thrive.<\/p>\n<p>Give therapists a place where they feel safe, valued, and inspired, and they&#8217;ll bring out the best in others.
